Led by Dr. Hisham Gharib, our team takes an unhurried approach to care, using tools like CBCT 3D imaging, digital X-rays, intraoral scanning, 3D printing, and microscope-assisted treatment to plan with precision and help patients feel more confident in the chair.
Meet your dentist
Dr. Hisham Gharib, DDS
Dr. Hisham Gharib brings 19 years of experience and a deeply educational approach to patient care. He earned his dental degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, holds postdoctoral diplomas from the United Kingdom, and pursued advanced training in operative, esthetic, and digital dentistry.
He also serves as a clinical assistant professor in restorative dentistry at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he teaches future dentists modern restorative and digital techniques. That teaching background shapes the way he practices at Alto Dental: explain clearly, show what’s happening, and make sure patients feel informed before treatment begins.
His “tell, show, do” approach means you’ll understand what he sees, why it matters, and what your options are before anything moves forward.

After reviewing your medical history and main concerns, we’ll complete a thorough exam with any necessary diagnostic imaging. Dr. Gharib will then walk you through what he sees, explain your options, and help you understand the recommended next steps, including timing, cost, and insurance details.
